Required Skills: Key Responsibilities: • Prepare monthly draws for construction loans. • Working with construction management to process Pay Apps and ensure all supporting documentation is provided. • Primary administer for YARDI. • Treasury management with banks and YARDI. • Prepare monthly financial statement and analysis in accordance with GAAP. • Prepare monthly and quarterly variance reports. • Prepare lender reporting packages. • Record monthly adjusting and accrual entries. • Work with Asset Management and Property Management teams on other operational reporting initiatives, as necessary. • Assist in the tax return preparation and potentially audit. • Process weekly check runs, both manual and integrated. • Review and post accounts payable. Skills & Qualifications: The successful candidate will be a smart, collaborative, master of Yardi and excel with some background in multi-family or Build-to-Rent development or commercial development. This successful candidate will, by nature, take a granular, hands-on approach to their responsibilities. Specific to this the successful candidate will have: • 3-5 years of real estate or development accounting experience, preferably in multifamily or Build-to-Rent. • 3-5 years of experience with Yardi. • Four-year, bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field. CPA, preferred. • College-level math and reasoning skills. • MS Office experience including advanced knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint. • Ability to work independently in a professional and flexible manner. • Ability to manage multiple projects with strong organizational skills. • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. • The ability to excel in a fast-paced, non-bureaucratic organization. • Upbeat, open, visible communication skills, a person known to bring humor, energy and creativity to the business and community arenas. • Recognition within his/her current company and the industry as a person of the highest integrity, ethical grounding and professional bearing. • Competitive salary and benefits available.

Summary of the Position:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to help lead our accounting team focusing on property level financials, systems management (Procore, Yardi) and manage development budgets. We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented individual with a demonstrated experience in a multi-family developer or BTR developer. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the complexities of the development, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
